We are a McLean, VA family looking for a professional Chef interested in expanding to the private home Chef market.We are a family of 2 adults +2 kids (8 years old and 3 years old)! We are looking for a chef to prepare dinner/lunch meals for the week. These items would be something that can be easily warmed up or quickly assembled. Each week:- we would discuss a menu to be prepared for the week- Chef would acquire relevant ingredients for the dishes, visit our residence for 1 day per week (either Mondays or Tuesdays), prepare 3 entrees and 3 sides that we can utilize across multiple meals during the week, and clean up after themselves before leaving for the day. We would pay a fixeddaily rate of $350 for the chef’s time and reimburse directly for any ingredient costs.We have a chef-quality kitchen with ample space and light to prepare the meals. We are open to all cuisine types, and enjoy East Asian, Italian, Indian, New American, and others. In terms of dietary restrictions, 1 adult and the children eat everything, and 1 adult is vegetarian. Our nutritional goals are to eat healthy, fresh, organic ethnic foods. We have no known food allergies. We are a friendly family with two young kids and a busy schedule, so preparing healthy meals has been challenging. So we greatly appreciate your help. Please note that we live in an area where public transit is not readily accessible (on the border of McLean and Arlington), so the Chef would need to provide her/his own transportation.An ideal candidate is someone with multiple years of professional restaurant Chef experience. We really value someone who is dependable and friendly to work with to forge a long term professional relationship.
